 Timothy Springer is an American immunologist, biological chemistry, and molecular pharmacology professor at Harvard Medical School. Springer received BA in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. After graduation, he completed Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Harvard University as he eventually received postdoctoral training at the University of Cambridge under the fellowship of Nobel Prize winner, Cesar Milstein.

Then he obtained a doctoral degree in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology in 1954 and completed postdoctoral research at the Applied Physics Laboratory of Johns Hopkins University until 1956.

Moore worked in Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory and Fairchild Semiconductors corporation prior to observation of Moore’s Law by him. He founded Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation in 2000 with his wife which focuses on environmental conservation, patient care, and scientific research. As of February 2021, Moore’s net worth is estimated to be $12.4 billion according to Forbes. A substantial portion of wealth comes from his shares in Intel.

Simons founded Renaissance Technologies in 1982 which uses computer-based mathematical, and statistical models to interpret financial data to predict future returns.
